Bose SoundTouch Support Ending February 18, 2026
If you own Bose SoundTouch products, you may have received an email directly from Bose announcing that, effective February 18, 2026, Bose will discontinue cloud support for all SoundTouch products. If you didn’t receive that notice, the key details are summarized below.

Over the years, we’ve noted that Bose had stopped manufacturing and servicing SoundTouch products — but this latest announcement is different. Beginning February 18, 2026, Bose will no longer support the SoundTouch streaming platform at all.

Here’s what this means for SoundTouch owners:
-
Music streaming through the SoundTouch app will no longer be available.
-
Grouping multiple SoundTouch speakers will no longer be possible.
-
Bluetooth playback will still work on SoundTouch products that support it, but only to one speaker or amplifier at a time, and only within short range of your Bluetooth device (such as a phone or tablet).
-
Bose Lifestyle systems and soundbars will continue to function for TV audio.
-
Certain Bose speakers can be integrated with Sonos systems, allowing you to keep streaming music through the Sonos app.

If you’d like to review how these changes may affect your setup — or explore upgrade options to Sonos — we’re here to help. We’ve already assisted many clients in making a smooth transition from Bose SoundTouch to Sonos, preserving exceptional sound quality while gaining the latest streaming features and long-term reliability.
