Trouble with the Hearing TV Dialogue?

As we age, minor hearing loss can make it challenging to catch TV dialogue, leading to frustration. Simply cranking up the volume isn't a solution, as it amplifies all sounds indiscriminately. If you own a Sonos Arc, Beam, or Ray Soundbar, there's a handy feature in the Sonos app called Speech Enhancement that can help alleviate this issue. By activating Speech Enhancement, you can boost the audio frequencies specifically related to human voices, making dialogue clearer and easier to follow.

To enable Speech Enhancement, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Systems tab in your Sonos app.

  2. Select your Sonos Home Theater speaker from the list.

  3. Tap the Now Playing Bar to access the Now Playing screen.

  4. Toggle the Speech Enhancement option on or off as needed.
