What is the Spinning Wheel on My Bose Remote?

Writer's picture: Craig WhitakerCraig Whitaker

Recently I personally experienced an issue with my Bose Lifestyle 650 remote control, I kept seeing a spinning wheel on my remote and none of the functions would work. After a little research, I discovered my remote, for no apparent reason, became “unpaired” from the console. This also happens on the Lifestyle 600 systems. The fix was quick and easy. Press and hold the light button on the back of the remote and then, while holding the light button, press and hold the OK on the front of the remote until the spinning wheel disappears. If this solution doesn’t work, unplug the power from the console, wait 30 seconds and then plug back in. This system reboot will pair your remote and console.
