What's New with the Sonos App?

Last week, we received a call from a longtime client who couldn't find the rooms in his Sonos system when he tapped "My System" in the Sonos app. Using FaceTime's Screen Share feature, we quickly discovered that he hadn't seen the recent Sonos email explaining the latest app updates. We walked him through the changes, and he was back up and running in just a few minutes.

If you haven't explored the latest Sonos app update, you'll notice two new tabs at the bottom of the screen: Home and System.

The Home tab takes you directly to your home page, where you'll find all your available music sources. You no longer need to scroll back through the app to get to your music.

The System tab displays all the rooms in your Sonos system and their current status, making it easy to select a room, adjust the volume, or group rooms together.

These two new tabs make navigating the Sonos app much easier. No matter where you are in the app, you can now go directly to your Home or System page with a single tap.
