On the other hand, Firmware is stored on your hardware and is designed to help your device run a specific task. Firmware cannot be stored in the cloud. From a practical standpoint, the biggest difference is the end user, you, can perform software updates. In the vast majority of cases, manufacturers do allow end user to perform Firmware updates and usually requires the purchase of new hardware or equipment. Please visit our website @ www.wbsouth.com.
