Can I Connect a Turntable to My Sonos Arc?

A client who recently purchased a Sonos turntable inquired if the turntable could be connected directly to their Sonos Arc. The answer is no. The Sonos turntable needs to be connected to a device with a line-level input. If you have expanded your Sonos system to include Sonos wireless speakers or Sonos amplifiers, you can connect the turntable to those devices and then listen to the turntable in other areas. The exception to this is a Sonos amplifier that is being used to power the rear speakers of a Sonos Home Theater system. In this instance, the line-level input on the surround amplifier is disabled. Connecting the turntable to a Sonos wireless speaker also allows you to expand your system and create another music zone. Recommended Sonos wireless speakers with a line-level input include the Sonos One, Sonos Five, Era 100, and Era 300.
