Can I Play Stored Music Through My Sonos System?

Clients that have music stored on their computers want to know if that music can be played on their Sonos system? The answer is yes. The Sonos app allows you to connect to your stored music on both Mac and Windows operating systems. Please note that you cannot access stored music on any of the older Bose systems. To connect to your music library, first open the Sonos app for macOS or Windows. Next, from the Manage menu, select Music Library Settings and Click + (plus) on macOS, or Add if you are using Windows. If you use iTunes or are not sure where your music is stored, select My Music folder. If your music is not located in the My Music folder, select the appropriate option. Type in your computer’s password if prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete adding your music library. Download time will depend on the size of your Music Library. It could take several minutes to index your library. For those that have a large CD collection, storing your CDs on your computer will provide easy access to your CD collection.
