Can I Store Music on the new Bose systems?

Last week’s Question of the Week about downloading stored music from older Bose systems triggered a new question from a couple of our clients, “Can I store music on the new Bose Lifestyle 600 or 650 systems”? The answer is no. The new system’s consoles have no ability to store music and have no built in DVD/CD player or AM/FM Radio tuner. For music, the new systems have the Bose Soundtouch music platform. For those that want to play CDs or create playlists from their CD collection, there are options. If you want to just play CDs from your CD collection, you can add a CD player to the new Bose system. However, the Bose system remote will not start the CD player, you will need to do that manually. Another option is to store your CDs on your computer. With this option you can access and control your CDs with the Bose Soundtouch. With this option, you can also create your playlists. Please visit our website @ www.wbsouth.com.
