We had a very interesting and enlightening call from a new client asking if the Sonos Home Theater plays 4K? The answer is a definite yes. The enlightening part was that we may be failing to explain how The Sonos Home Theater operates differently from the older Bose Lifestyle systems and standard receivers. In these older systems, the video components connect to the receiver and the receiver’s video output connect to the TV. Your video is dependent on whether the receiver passes 4K video. With the Sonos Home Theater, all your video components connect directly to the TV. The audio from the video components as well as the streaming video from your TV connects to the Sonos Home Theater using the HDMI Arc connection. The result is your video is not dependent on the Sonos Home Theater system. If your video source produces 4K, your 4K TV will play 4K. For those early adopters that have already invested in an 8K TV, the result is the same, an 8K source will reproduce an 8K picture and still play through the Sonos Home Theater system. The Sonos Home Theater features Dolby Atmos technology and has built-in streaming music using the Sonos Music app. For all your audio, video, and Smart Home needs, schedule a free consultation by calling 888-775-2673 or visit our website @ www.wbsouth.com.Does a Sonos Home Theater Play 4K?
