Although their passive speaker options have been cut back, Bose still offers an indoor flush mounted ceiling speaker, Model 791, and an outdoor surface mounted speaker, Model 251. These 2 speakers will work with any amplifier with a 4–8-ohm output and work especially well with the Sonos amplifier. The Bose 791 speaker is designed for in-ceiling use only and should not be used as an in-wall speaker. The Bose 251 speaker is available in either black or white.
