Does Sonos Make a “True” 5.1 Home Theater System?

As we do more and more projects using our Sonos dealership, clients ask if Sonos makes a full surround sound system or just soundbars? The answer is a qualified yes. The Sonos Soundbar can be used as the front left, front right, and center speakers as part of a full surround sound system. There are 2 options for adding rear speakers. The 1st is adding a pair of Sonos One speakers for the rear speakers. Be aware that with this option, each of the rear speakers needs to be connected to an electrical outlet and those electrical wires would be exposed. Another great sounding alternative for rear speakers is to add a pair of Bose in wall or in ceiling speakers and a Sonos Amp to power the rear speakers. In addition to incredible sound, this option allows you to hide the rear speaker wires in the wall and locate the Sonos Amp wherever it is convenient. With both rear options, you add the Sonos Sub and you have a full 5.1 surround system. To schedule a FREE Virtual consultation, please visit our website @ www.wbsouth.com/freeihc.
