As more clients upgrade to new phones, we often get asked how their Sonos system will work with the new device. In most cases, the Sonos app will transfer automatically when you move your data from the old phone to the new one.

If your Sonos system doesn’t seem to be working after the transfer, first make sure your new phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Sonos system. If everything checks out and you're still having trouble, try reinstalling the app.

Before you delete anything, be sure you know your Sonos account username and password. Then, delete the Sonos app from your phone and download the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. When prompted to “Create new account” or “Sign in to existing account,” choose “existing account” and log in with your credentials.

Once you're signed in, your Sonos system should be restored and ready to use on your new phone.
