How Should I Prepare for My Installation or Service Call?

Clients often ask if there is anything they should do to prepare for their installation or service call. First and foremost, know all of your passwords for your Wi-Fi network and streaming accounts such as Pandora, Spotify, Netflix, etc. Passwords are required when installing these services on the Sonos or Bose app. If you have a new cable/satellite or Internet provider, be sure the service is activated. You need to have whatever components such as Apple TV, DVD player, Roku, you want connected to your system on site. This allows the installer to program the remote to control the devices and avoids the cost of a service call to have the installer come back and connect these devices. You should remove any fragile items from the work areas. Please remember, an adult needs to be on site at the beginning and the end of the installation. Training for this system will take place immediately upon the completion of your installation. Installers do their best to arrive within the arrival windows but traffic can impact their arrival time. Our standard arrival time for morning appointments is between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. For afternoon appointments, the arrival window is between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. If the installer is running late, he will contact you with his ETA. Before the start of your installation, the installer will review your project and finalize the location for all of the equipment. If you have any questions or concerns, address them during this walk through. Please visit our website at www.wbsouth.com.
