Properly Accessing Your Streaming Video Services

With streaming services dominating the entertainment landscape, many clients encounter issues when trying to access platforms like Netflix, Prime, or Apple TV. To ensure smooth access to your streaming services, it's important to understand that there are often multiple ways to reach them—and knowing where the app resides is key.

Streaming services can be accessed through various devices: your TV, cable or satellite systems, third-party devices like Roku, or even DVD players. Consistency is critical. Accessing your streaming services the same way each time will prevent issues like needing to repeatedly log in or receiving messages that your account is being used on another device.

If you’re using a soundbar and your streaming apps are embedded in your TV, you should use your TV remote to access the services. If you're using a third-party device, such as a Roku or DVD player connected directly to the TV, use the device’s remote for navigation. For those with a Bose Lifestyle system, use the Bose remote to select the appropriate input, and then use the device remote to access the streaming service.
