Adding Your Cable Channels to Roku?

Recently, we wrote about upgrading your cable box to get the full benefit of a 4K TV. I upgraded my cable box because I noticed the difference in picture quality between my cable and streaming channels. After getting a new cable box, I immediately saw an improvement on my 4K Sony TV. However, after a couple of weeks, it seemed the streaming channels still looked better than cable. I decided to try the Roku option of adding the Xfinity streaming app to my Roku. The difference was amazing! My cable channels now matched my streaming channels, and my Sony TV was delivering a brilliant picture across all platforms. Adding your cable to your Roku account is simple. On your Roku Home Page, select the Add Channel option. Next download your cable provider’s streaming app. For the last step to login into your cable account, follow the on-screen instructions.
