As more of our clients upgrade to Sonos, we want to be sure everyone is getting the most out of their system. Did you know that in addition to Sonos Radio, Sonos supports over 130 different music services? It’s a great opportunity to explore new music and discover services you may not have used before.

Adding music services to the Sonos app is quick and easy and very similar to adding music stored on your computer, which we recently discussed.

How to Add a Music Service to the Sonos App

  1. Open the Sonos app and go to the Home screen.

  2. Scroll about halfway down to Music Services and tap Manage.

  3. You’ll see a list of the services currently connected to your Sonos app.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of that list and select Add Content Service.

  5. A list of all available music services will appear.

  6. Select the service you’d like to add and follow the on-screen instructions.

If the music app is already installed on your phone, you’ll simply be asked to authorize the service. If it’s a new service for you, you’ll be guided through setting up a new account.

The Bottom Line

With so many music services available, Sonos gives you the flexibility to listen to exactly what you want when and where you want it. Taking a few minutes to explore new services can greatly enhance your listening experience.

If you’d like help adding services or want recommendations based on how you listen to music, we’re happy to help.
