How Do You Create a Permanent Group in the Sonos app?

Many of our clients find themselves grouping the same rooms together when enjoying their favorite music. It might be the Kitchen and Great Room, or the Patio and Pool. If you’re creating the same groups over and over, Sonos makes it easy by allowing you to create a permanent group that you can start with a single tap.
Here’s how to create a permanent group:
Open the Sonos app and go to Settings
Scroll down and select Groups
Tap Create Group
Name your group
Select the rooms you want included
Tap Save
That’s it. You now have a permanent group ready to go anytime.
To play a saved group:
Tap the speaker icon next to any room
Your saved group will appear along with your other rooms
Select the group, and your music will start playing in all rooms in that group at once
It’s a simple way to enjoy multi-room audio without repeating the same steps every time.
