If you’ve recently upgraded your Wi-Fi router or changed your network name or password, your Sonos system probably lost connection. That’s because Sonos products rely on your home’s Wi-Fi network, and any changes mean they don’t know how to reconnect... yet.
But don’t worry—getting everything back online is pretty simple.
Here’s How to Reconnect Your Sonos System to Your New Wi-Fi:
You’ll use the Sonos app to guide each speaker or component back onto your network. Just follow these steps:
Open the Sonos app and wait while it searches for your system.
When you see “No products found,” tap Go to System Settings.
Under Your System, choose Update Network.
Follow the prompts to connect each Sonos product to your new Wi-Fi.
Important Tip:If your Sonos products were previously connected via Ethernet, unplug those cables before starting the steps above. Once everything is back on the Wi-Fi, you can plug Ethernet back in if needed.
