By far, the most popular blog post on our website is “How can I connect my new TV to my old Bose Lifestyle Home Theater system?” This conversation always leads to the client asking, “Can I Upgrade My System?” Most clients have 2 upgrade options. First, at times, there are trade-in programs where you can receive a 25% trade in discount towards the purchase of a new Lifestyle 600 or Lifestyle 650 system. For a Lifestyle 600 system that is a $750 discount; for a Lifestyle 650 system, the trade-in discount is $1,000. Another option for those looking for a solution that offers new technology such as streaming music, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, HDMI with ARC connectivity, and 4K pass through but are satisfied with the current sound quality, a less expensive option is to upgrade your existing Bose console and bass module with a new Bose LS-600 console and new AM-700 bass module. The cost for this new equipment is $1,995. This option is only available through authorized Bose dealers. Please note if you have additional music zones connected to your old Lifestyle system, you will need to upgrade your old Bose SA amplifiers to either Bose SA-5 or Sonos amplifiers. If you select the Sonos amplifier option, a Sonos port needs to be connected to the new Bose console. Please visit our website @ www.wbsouth.com./upgrade
