What’s New in the New Sonos Software Update?

Sonos recently updated their software for their Sonos music app. Here is a summary of the great new features.


· For Sonos Move and Roam speakers, a new energy saving mode which will help reserve battery when the speakers are not in use. To enable the Battery Saver, go to Settings > System > Choose Roam or Move > toggle on Battery Saver.

· DTS Digital Surround Now Available- DTS Digital Surround is an audio format that delivers a higher resolution, surround sound experience. DTS Surround Sound is available on Playbar, Playbase, Amp, both generations of Beam, and Arc on the S2 platform.

· EQ Settings now showing on the screen- iOS customers streaming music will now be able to adjust their EQ settings, including Treble, Bass, and Loudness, via the Now Playing screen in the Sonos app.
