To get the most out of the new Sonos Arc Ultra, proper placement is key. Follow these guidelines to ensure you experience the full power of spatial audio and Dolby Atmos.

Wall Mounting Recommendations

For the best performance, mount the Arc Ultra 4 inches below your TV. This placement allows the two up-firing tweeters to project sound without obstruction, creating height channels for a truly immersive experience. If mounting below the TV isn’t an option, you can install it above the TV, but be sure it remains unobstructed.

Avoid Cabinet Placement

Do not place the Arc Ultra inside a cabinet. The side-firing drivers need space to reflect sound off walls, enabling the spatial audio effect. If enclosed, the soundstage will be restricted, diminishing the immersive experience. Also, ensure the controls face up for proper functionality.

Centering & Fine-Tuning
