Why Are Bose Products the Same Price Everywhere?

For the past 35 years that we have been selling Bose products, we have always been asked ”Why are Bose products the same price wherever you buy them’? The reason is Bose has always had MSRP pricing. MSRP stands for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price.  Whenever anyone becomes a Bose dealer, you agree to sell Bose products according to the MSRP pricing. At first, I didn’t understand this pricing policy but over time, have grown to understand the reasons behind this policy. MSRP pricing gives the dealer the ability to maintain a reasonable profit margin. This allows dealers to remain viable so that the dealer can be there to provide after the sale support. Too often customers buy electronics at ridiculously low prices only to find the seller is long gone when customer needs product support. Another advantage for customers is that if purchased at MSRP pricing, the customers know they are purchasing genuine Bose products. There are websites selling Bose at cheaper prices. These products are either “knock-offs” or stolen goods and come with no product warranties. So when you make a decision to purchase Bose products, be sure you are purchasing from a certified Bose dealer. Please visit our website @ www.wbsouth.com.
