Why can't my old Bose Lifestyle System Be Repaired

Every day, we receive multiple calls regarding Bose repairs. Bose products were repaired by Bose and many clients are disappointed that their system or speakers can no longer be repaired and often ask why. There are a couple of reasons why older systems can no longer be repaired. First and foremost, is parts availability. As systems evolve, the components to make the older systems are no longer manufactured and are not available for repairs. The reason older system models are longer made is that as technology continues to improve and change, these improvements are not compatible with older systems and as a result, there is no demand for the older systems. Another reason systems can’t be repaired is the cost of repair. This pertains especially to single speakers where the cost of a new speaker is often less expensive than what it would cost to repair the system.
