Can I place my Bose SA-5 amplifier in an entertainment center?

Clients often ask can I place my Bose SA-5 amplifiers in my entertainment center. The answer is yes with one big caveat; the cabinet cannot be a metal cabinet. Placing the amplifiers in any metal cabinet or wall enclosure will greatly impact the Wi-Fi connectivity. If it is necessary to place your amplifiers in a metal enclosure, you should wire your amplifiers directly to your routers with an Ethernet cable. Other than metal cabinets, the amplifiers can be located anywhere inside your home. Remember, Bose SA-5 amplifiers are not weatherproof and cannot be used outdoors.
