Now that 4K TV’s and streaming music services are here to stay, many people want to upgrade their Bose Home entertainment system to take advantage of these new technologies. Clients always ask, “Can I use any of my existing Bose system?” In 95% of the cases, the answer is yes; your existing Bose speakers can be used. For home theater surround sound systems, the Bose Media Center and bass module need to be upgraded to the new Bose 600 console and the new Bose AM-300 bass module. If your system has been expanded to other zones in your home, your existing Bose SA amplifiers need to be upgraded to the new Bose SA-5 Wi-Fi based amplifier. Some of the advantages are 4K video pass thru, universal remote control, six (6) HDMI inputs, streaming music and Bluetooth capability, Alexa skills enabled, music and Zone control with any smart phone or tablet, wireless connectivity to music stored on your laptop or computer.
