Having installed Bose systems for the past 30 years, we often get calls from past clients, asking if their older Bose systems can still be repaired. Bose still offers factory repair service on many of their older systems. However due to the availability of certain replacement parts, some older systems can no longer be repaired. Starting with the Bose V-20 system, originally released around 2007 and newer, these systems can still receive Bose factory service. Systems manufactured before the V-20 system, in most cases, no longer can be repaired through Bose factory service. A simple method to know if your older Bose system can still be repaired is to determine if your system has a built-in CD/DVD player. If it does, in most cases, your system can no longer be repaired by Bose factory service. To verify if your system can be repaired, contact Bose repair @ 888-757-9952.
