With the holidays approaching, our clients are asking if they purchase Bose Bluetooth speakers such as Soundlink Mini or Revolver, as gifts for family members, can these Bluetooth speakers be added to their home wide Soundtouch system? The answer is no. Bose Soundtouch products are Wi-Fi based products and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are different technologies. What adds to the confusion is you can Bluetooth music to a Soundtouch device, but remember, Bluetooth speakers cannot connect to Soundtouch speakers. If you are looking for a small one room speaker as holiday gifts that can be added to your Soundtouch system, take a look at the Soundtouch 10, 20, or 30 models. Also, the Bose Soundtouch Wave radio is a great holiday gift that can add music to any room. Please visit our website @www.wbsouth.com.
